Are you an experienced Deputy Manager ready for your next step, or an established Care Manager looking for a new challenge? We are recruiting for a Registered Manager to lead our 6-bed residential service for adults with Learning Disabilities (LD) and Physical Disabilities (PD), based in Shirley. This is a fantastic opportunity to take ownership of a well-established, GOOD-rated service and to inspire, support, and develop a dedicated care team.
Responsibilities
* Lead and direct the day-to-day management of the service
* Provide staff supervisions, training, and development
* Oversee new resident assessments, reviews, and smooth transitions
* Ensure person-centred care and support planning
* Maintain high standards of quality and compliance with company policies and CQC requirements
* Complete audits, monitoring, and continuous improvement initiatives
* Manage budgets, finance, and resources
* Oversee HR responsibilities, including recruitment, performance management, and staff well-being
* Champion infection prevention and control standards
About you
* Strong background in Learning Disabilities / Physical Disabilities
* Experienced Deputy Manager seeking progression, or an established Care Manager
* Hold a Level 5 in Leadership & Management for Adult Care (or equivalent, or working towards)
* Proven team leadership and people management skills
* Strong knowledge of CQC regulations and commitment to high-quality care
