Role & Responsibilities
* Support the development and delivery of firm-wide and departmental business development strategies aligned to growth objectives
* Work with partners and fee earners to identify and develop cross-selling and upselling opportunities
* Support key client relationship leads to grow priority client accounts and sector opportunities
* Provide client and market insight, including research, opportunity tracking, and meeting support
* Manage and contribute to tenders, bids, and proposals, including drafting and coordination
* Conduct market and competitor analysis to identify positioning and growth opportunities
* Support conferences, seminars, and speaking opportunities, including content development
* Track and report on business development activity and performance using CRM systems
* Collaborate with senior stakeholders and BD, marketing, and client experience teams to deliver a coordinated approach
* Manage BD budgets and act as a professional ambassador for the firm
Knowledge, Skills & Experience
* Experience in a legal or professional services environment or a comparable commercial, service-led organisation
* Strong understanding of professional services markets and client development
* Proven experience managing and writing bids, tenders, and proposals
* Excellent stakeholder management, influencing, and communication skills
* Demonstrated ability to identify and convert business development opportunities
* Highly organised, proactive, and able to work independently
* Strong client focus with a professional, confident approach
* Proficient in CRM and business development systems
