Location: Centenary Plaza, Birmingham, B1 1TS
Working Hours: Monday to Friday 0900 – 1730
Salary: £30,000 - £35,000 per annum (depending on experience)

Development Details:
Centenary Plaza is a modern mixed-use residential development situated in Birmingham’s city centre, close to Broad Street and The Mailbox. The estate comprises around 350 homes across three residential blocks, supported by full concierge services, secure access control and landscaped communal areas. The development benefits from a range of on-site amenities including a residents’ gym, car park, and a residents’ meeting room, along with well-maintained internal common areas.
Key Responsibilities and Requirements:
As an Assistant Development Manager at Rendall & Rittner:
1. You will have experience in a similar role, overseeing on-site teams and supporting the manager with health and safety compliance, operational standards, and general building management.
2. You will have a proven track record of working within demanding developments, taking a hands-on approach with the ability to lead, prioritise tasks, and effectively manage multiple stakeholders.
3. You will have experience carrying out regular site inspections, ensuring Health & Safety regulations are adhered to, and maintaining a good working knowledge of building maintenance systems.
4. You will have experience managing external contractors, coordinating on-site works, and raising or monitoring work orders to ensure tasks are completed to a high standard.
5. You will be confident in overseeing day-to-day site operations, including responding to resident queries and complaints, reporting issues to the relevant departments, taking ownership, and ensuring clear and timely communication.
6. You will ensure that all staff follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and consistently deliver a high-quality, bespoke service to residents, clients, and guests.
7. You will be IT proficient, comfortable using a range of systems and software, and able to quickly learn new platforms when required.
8. You will bring strong customer service experience, with the ability to manage complaints professionally, work safely, and operate effectively within a team environment while leading, motivating, and inspiring others.
9. You will be proactive in identifying opportunities to improve the performance of the development and contribute to achieving strong operational results.
10. You value teamwork and collaboration, supporting colleagues while building strong working relationships with residents, guests, and external contractors to foster a positive and unified working environment.
