A Behaviour Mentor is needed in a Mixed Secondary School & Sixth Form in South West London.
This will be a full time long term Behaviour Mentor position, with scope to go permanent.
Working hours for this Behaviour Mentor post will be 8am to 4pm.
Responsibilities for this Behaviour Mentor role will include but not be limited to:
6. Supporting a Year 10 male pupil with ADHD on a 1:1 basis in classes and intervention sessions
7. Working with teachers to ensure the student's learning needs are identified
8. Attending to the student's social, emotional and personal needs when required
9. Managing the pupils behaviour and using appropriate strategies in line with academy policy
10. Undertaking learning activities/teaching programmes when needed
The rates of pay for this Behaviour Mentor position will be between £82.14 to £100 a day, depending on the qualifications and experiences of each applicant.

An 'Outstanding' Secondary School & Sixth Form in the London Borough of Merton.
It is a mixed, 11 - 18, non-selective school with a wide demographic of pupils and staff.
90% of students stay in education or employment after Key Stage 4.
The site has its own dedicated SEN Support Centre and a variety of sports facilities.
Ofsted have noted there is positive culture of learning and a strong sense of community.
Requirements
Applications are welcome if you're a Graduate or experienced Behaviour Mentor.
You're also welcome to apply if you're a British trained Behaviour Mentor or overseas trained Behaviour Mentor.
All applicants must have the following in order to be considered for this position as a Behaviour Mentor:
11. Right to work in the UK
12. Clear and up to date Enhanced DBS
13. UK Bachelor's Degree or overseas equivalent
14. Experience of working with children/young people from the ages of 11 to 18 or as a Behaviour Mentor in UK schools
