Control Room Team Leader

Your next role
Were looking for a confident and capable Control Room Team Leader to join our 24/7 control room. This is a key leadership role reporting to the Operations Manager, where you'll be responsible for the smooth running of the control room and supporting a team of operators to deliver a high-quality service.
What you will be doing
* Managing day-to-day control room activities
* Communicating goals and objectives to the team
* Supporting training and development plans in partnership with the Operations Manager
* Delegating tasks and creating a productive work environment
* Hosting 1-2-1s and team meetings to assess performance and provide feedback
* Assisting with recruitment and onboarding of new staff
* Monitoring CCTV, handling calls and alarms as part of daily operations
* Keeping teams informed of business updates and changes
* Maintaining company standards for alarm handling and response times
* Identifying operational risks and areas for improvement
* Attending monthly team leader meetings
Who we are looking for
* Proven leadership experience
* Strong written and verbal communication skills
* Excellent interpersonal and conflict resolution abilities
* High attention to detail and customer service focus
* Confident using computer applications
* Experience in training and mentoring others
* Flexibility to work across a rotating 7-day shift pattern
