Hours: 28.75 hours per week (7-day service)
Band: ANP Band 7 or Trainee ANP Band 6 (Annex 21) progressing to Band 7 upon qualification
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a committed and dynamic Advanced Nurse Practitioner (ANP) or Trainee ANP to join our Critical Care Outreach and Acute Pain Team at BGH. This is a pivotal role for a motivated individual with a passion for delivering high-quality, patient-centred care. Driving Licence is essential.
As a Trainee ANP, you will be supported to develop into an autonomous practitioner, capable of assessing, diagnosing, initiating treatment, and managing patients with a wide range of conditions. You will work both independently and collaboratively across healthcare boundaries to deliver safe, effective, and compassionate care.
We are seeking a candidate who:
* Demonstrates excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Has a genuine passion for improving patient outcomes and experiences.
* Possesses significant post-registration experience in critical care.
* Can remain calm, professional, and decisive in high-pressure situations.
* Is committed to continuous learning and professional development.
This is a training post under Annexe 21, with structured support through:
• Academic study towards a Postgraduate Diploma in Advanced Practice.
• Clinical mentorship and supervision.
• Guaranteed progression to a Band 7 ANP role upon successful completion of training and competencies.
