Here at Myerscough Veterinary Group, we are looking for a friendly and approachable Client Care Advisor to join our team! The main purpose of the role is to travel across all our branches to cover Receptionists' holidays as needed. This is a permanent position, and with over 20 receptionists in the company, there is always someone on holiday.
What will the role involve?
You will be the first point of contact for clients and the general public, both on the telephone and in person. You will demonstrate a professional and knowledgeable impression to promote the practice and instill confidence in our clients.
Other duties include:
1. Ensure all visitors are met in a professional, friendly, and courteous manner.
2. Inform and educate clients, providing excellent customer service in a professional, sympathetic, and courteous manner.
3. Answer telephone calls promptly and professionally.
4. Book appointments.
5. Prepare prescription medication under vet instruction.
6. Assist the vet with animal handling as required.
7. Admit and discharge patients for routine operations.
8. Manage stock control.
9. Maintain the care and presentation of client areas and waiting rooms.
10. Monitor and progress client debt.
11. Reconcile payments, handle cashing up, and perform administrative tasks.
12. Educate clients about practice services.
About the rota
This is a full-time, permanent role working a minimum of 37.5 hours per week. Shifts start between 8:30 am and 9:30 am, occasionally as early as 7:30 am. Shifts typically end around 6:15 pm, but may extend as late as 8:00 pm at our hospital branch. Some weekend work may be required.
