Overview
We are currently recruiting for a Building Maintenance Technician for a supplier of wet paint, powder coatings and metal pretreatment products to a variety of Market areas. An exciting opportunity at a rapidly growing company in Redditch. Possible permanent position after a successful trial period.
Responsibilities
* Inspect, maintain and repair building's production equipment systems
* Troubleshoot and repair pneumatic systems, pumps, mixers and filling lines.
* Complete building and site maintenance checks, including fire safety systems, emergency lighting and compressors.
* Liaise with external contractors and suppliers.
* Use CMM software to log maintenance work and plan tasks.
* Create maintenance plan for the organisation's equipment.
Core Competencies
* Proven experience as a Maintenance Technician
* Knowledge of general maintenance
* Working knowledge of tools
* Problem solving skills
* Manual Dexterity and physical strength to handle tools, carry out repairs and installations.
Shifts and Pay Rates
* Monday to Thursday - #removed#
* Friday - #removed#
* £16.63 per hour
