Job Description
We are seeking a dynamic HR Assistant/ Admin who reports to the Human Resources Manager. The role ensures smooth operation of HR policies and payroll administration across the organization, including compliance with internal controls. End-to-end recruitment at the agent level is a critical aspect of this role.
Summary of Recruitment & HR Duties:
* End-to-end recruitment for Ipswich, including sourcing, scheduling, issuing offers, and onboarding candidates within SLA timelines.
* Managing starters and leavers processes, including documentation, references, inductions, and account management.
* Maintaining HR documentation and records, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
* Supporting HR processes such as attendance, maternity/paternity leave, disciplinaries, grievances, dismissals, and PIPs, ensuring legal compliance.
* Managing internal recruitment processes, including agency management, vacancy approvals, advertising, and interview coordination.
* Updating and maintaining HRIS, attendance, and holiday records.
* Reviewing and updating employee personnel files.
* Assisting HR Manager with process reviews and statutory compliance.
Payroll Responsibilities:
* Sending payroll data to offshore team on time.
* Processing new hires, internal changes, and leavers.
* Monitoring absenteeism and processing deductions.
* Collating additional payments such as overtime and bonuses.
Ad-Hoc Duties:
* Managing the Eye Care Scheme.
* Organizing external training.
* Ensuring fire marshal and first aider qualifications are current.
* Taking minutes as needed.
Qualifications:
* GCSE level education or equivalent.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Strong organizational skills.
* Proficiency in MS Office.
* Numerate with accurate payroll data handling.
Desirable:
* CIPD qualification (CPP preferred).
Additional Skills:
* Planning and organizing.
* Payroll and recruitment knowledge.
* Monthly reporting and employment law understanding.
Note: Preference for local candidates to Ipswich due to office-based role. Immediate availability is preferred.
