Location: Stalbridge
Hours: up to 37.5 hours per week
Pay: £13.81 and increasing to £14.11 after passing probation and obtaining a care certificate.

Key Responsibilities
* Provide service cover and support in all areas as required by the Service Manager, Area Team Leader and Team Leader
* To manage a team that has required competencies and capabilities to meet the needs and expectations of the people we support.
* Be aware of the standards for delivering high quality services to the people we support.
* To ensure confidentiality and effective governance including safeguarding protocols are followed in the services.
* Provide high-quality care and support to people in the setting. This may include but is not limited to personal care, meal preparation, administering medication, support out in the community and housekeeping.
* Build strong, positive relationships with people, promoting their independence and well-being.
* Work collaboratively with the care team to ensure a safe, compassionate environment.
* Effective communication both verbally and written.
* Record and report any changes in the people we support’s needs or conditions.
* To treat all colleagues with equal respect regardless of age, disability, gender reassignment, marriage or civil partnership, pregnancy or maternity, race, religion or belief, sex or sexual orientation.
* To be aware of and to comply with all Encompass policies and procedures.
