Teaching Assistant

Hours of work - Part Time or full time applications welcome

Term time only plus inset days (39 weeks per year)

Fixed Term – Until August 2026

Salary; SCP 5-6

Start date: 1st September

Nythe Primary School is looking to appoint an outstanding teaching assistant who is resourceful, enthusiastic and self-motivated. We would like someone with a tolerant and compassionate nature, a sense of humour and the ability to work both on their own and as part of our supportive team.

Our ideal candidate would be:

1. An outstanding teaching assistant with experience of supporting children with special educational needs.
2. Fully committed to inclusion.
3. Friendly, positive, flexible and energetic.
4. Someone with high expectations.
5. A team player.
6. Able to complete observations and assessments, and support with record keeping.
7. Able to run interventions with instruction from the class teacher
