Key Responsibilities
As a Design Engineer, you will play a crucial role in our Construction Engineering team, contributing to a wide range of complex construction engineering services. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:
* Understanding and agreeing on the technical requirements of client remits, leading the development of fee proposals, and managing the workload of engineers and technical staff.
* Overseeing the production of design deliverables, including calculations, drawings, reports, and design risk assessments.
* Acting as the lead representative at project meetings, managing financial and commercial aspects with support from the Engineering and Commercial Managers.
* Maintaining project documentation, providing regular updates, and ensuring continuous improvement.
* Reviewing monthly invoices and gathering feedback from clients to enhance our services.
What We’re Looking For
This role is perfect for you if:
* You have completed IEng Initial Professional Development (or CEng equivalent) with a relevant professional institution (e.g., ICE) and possess practical industry experience.
* You hold Level 6 or Level 7 qualifications along with significant relevant experience.
