Teaching Personnel is working in partnership with a large, well-established SEN provision to recruit an experienced Primary SEN Teacher to work within a PMLD (Profound and Multiple Learning Difficulties) class.

* Position: SEN Primary Teacher – PMLD
* Start Date: September 2026
* Pay Rate: £172.98 per day
* Availability: Full-time and part-time opportunities available
* Setting: Large SEN provision (Primary Department)

The Role
* Deliver highly personalised, sensory-based learning tailored to pupils with PMLD
* Support pupils’ communication, physical development, and life skills alongside academic engagement
* Work closely with a multidisciplinary team including teaching assistants, therapists, and healthcare professionals
* Create a calm, safe, and stimulating learning environment
* Track progress using EHCP targets and personalised learning plans
* Support pupils with medical, physical, and care needs where required
Requirements
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
* Proven experience working with pupils with PMLD and complex learning needs
* Strong understanding of sensory learning, communication strategies, and behaviour support
* A caring, patient, and flexible approach to teaching
* Excellent teamwork and communication skills
* A clear commitment to safeguarding and pupil wellbeing
