Role Description
• Provide authorisation on a day-to-day basis for the scheduled bookings for servicing and repairs of
vehicles on R&M contract, ensuring customer compliance at all times.
• Authorise and process warranty claims submitted by dealer network.
• Input claims into parent company system, monitor and record responses, and ensure payment cycles
are achieved.
• Using technical experience, agree and authorise extra times/labour value as claims require.
• Control & minimise warranty rejections from parent company.
• Reclaim monies for dealer warranty repairs from parent company and any other third-party
manufacturers and suppliers.
• Liaise with Customer Liaison Executives as a central point of contact for any R&M or warranty
authorisation issues.
• Control, agree and pass invoices from roadside provider for R&M contracted vehicles & report on
non-authorised invoices.
• Attend training courses when and where required as advised by our Training Manager.
• Answer and direct telephone calls as required.
• Carry out any additional tasks as the department may require.
Qualifications
Minimum BTEC and NVQ level three or equivalent in automotive industries.
Minimum five year's experience working as a technician within a franchised dealerships (does not have to be Isuzu).
Experience of using manufacturer systems such as warranty systems etc.
Good IT skills specifically computer aided diagnostics.
A reasonable understanding of MS Office products.
Excellent communication skills.
