Your Role:
As we scale rapidly, we’re looking for an exceptional Business Talent Acquisition Partner to take full ownership of our recruitment efforts across Marketing, Operations, Strategy, Finance, and People functions. You will manage the full recruitment cycle, from sourcing and screening candidates to coordinating interviews and facilitating smooth onboarding processes with our People team. Your expertise will ensure we bring in the best talent while maintaining a strong employer brand.
Additionally, you will partner with hiring managers to understand their needs, help us develop effective recruitment strategies, and create a seamless candidate experience. Your work will have a direct impact on shaping the future of InvestEngine by ensuring we hire the right people for the right roles.
Key Responsibilities:
Own and execute end-to-end hiring for all business roles across the company
Source and engage passive talent — you love the thrill of the cold outreach and know how to win people over
Partner with hiring managers to define success profiles and structured scorecards
Champion and enforce a value-driven, structured hiring process
Coach hiring managers to become confident, rigorous interviewers
Continuously improve funnel performance — you obsess over quality, speed, and process discipline
Ensure a top-tier candidate experience from outreach to offer
Technical Skills:
5+ years in recruitment, including strong experience in business hiring, Marketing, Operations, Compliance, Strategy, Finance, and People etc.
Track record of hiring A-players in fast-paced or high-growth companies (fintech, scaleups, tech startups)
Confident sourcer who thrives on proactive outreach and relationship-building
Passion for structured hiring — you know your way around scorecards, behavioral interviews, and hiring data
Strong partner to hiring managers — assertive, consultative, and action-oriented
Comfortable working independently and pushing for excellence
UK-based (hybrid or remote) — we care about output, not location
