Exciting opportunity to kickstart your civil engineering career with a supportive and forward‑thinking consultancy in Bristol. You’ll be joining a growing civil engineering team of eight, working on diverse residential, commercial, and industrial developments across the South West and beyond.

Key Responsibilities
 * Prepare pre‑purchase feasibility studies and address planning conditions, including highways and drainage considerations.
 * Support flood risk assessments in collaboration with the in‑house flood modelling team.
 * Develop SuDS and drainage strategies at the planning stage.
 * Produce detailed design drawings and calculations for technical approvals (S278, S38, S104, Building Control, NHBC, etc.).
 * Prepare 3D ground models for volume calculations, cut and fill analysis, and road profiling.
 * Liaise with clients, local authorities, water companies, and statutory bodies.
 * Attend meetings, public exhibitions, and site inspections as required.
 * Work proactively toward professional chartership (ICE, CIWEM, or equivalent).
About You
 * Degree: Qualified in Civil Engineering (or equivalent).
 * Approximately 1 to 2 years of relevant experience within a civil engineering consultancy.
 * Proficient in AutoCAD, Civil 3D (or similar design software).
 * Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills.
 * A keen eye for detail, excellent organisation, and a genuine enthusiasm for learning and progression.
