We have an exciting opportunity for a Demand Technical Assistant to join the Water Service Delivery / Water Strategy Planning & Investment team at Yorkshire Water. Could this be you?

But our role is broader: we look after communities, protect the environment, and plan for Yorkshire's water needs today and in the future, 24/7, 365 days a year.
The Water Strategy Planning & Investment team develops strategic plans to ensure the long-term sustainability and efficiency of water resources, addressing challenges like population growth, climate change, and environmental regulations. Joining this team means contributing to safeguarding Yorkshire's water future.
Where you fit in:
As our Demand Technical Assistant, you will:
* Provide operational administrative support to the Water Efficiency team, helping achieve Performance Commitments for Per Capita Consumption (PCC) and Business Demand Reduction (NHH).
* Manage information on household and non-household water consumption for the annual water balance and reporting.
* Serve as the primary contact for operational colleagues working on demand programs and customer queries.
* Coordinate work for Data Maintenance Technicians and support team objectives.
* Oversee recruitment processes for the Demand Customer Metering sample, ensuring data accuracy across systems.
* Manage the annual Water Usage Survey, including distribution, collection, and data updates.
Skills & qualifications needed:
* Familiarity with IT systems such as Netbase, Advantex, Odyssey, ICE, Yorbill, and SAP.
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with problem-solving abilities.
* Strong customer service orientation.
* Experience in administrative roles within a team environment.
* Effective decision-making and attention to detail.
