Responsibilities
* Plan and implement engaging educational activities tailored to the developmental needs of children.
* Observe and assess children's progress, providing feedback to parents and guardians.
* Create a safe, inclusive, and welcoming environment for all children.
* Collaborate with colleagues to develop effective teaching strategies and share best practices.
* Maintain accurate records of children's development and daily activities.
* Communicate effectively with parents, providing updates on their child's progress and addressing any concerns.
* Ensure compliance with health, safety, and safeguarding policies at all times.
Skills
* Strong management and leadership abilities to guide a team of educators effectively.
* Previous experience working with children in a childcare or nursery setting is essential.
* A solid understanding of early childhood education principles and practices.
* Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written, to engage with children, parents, and colleagues.
* Driving skills may be advantageous for transporting children or resources as needed.
* A nurturing attitude with the ability to inspire confidence in young learners.
