A fantastic opportunity for an experienced generalist who is ready to step into a more strategic position, this role will provide proactive HR support across the full employee lifecycle while contributing to strategic people initiatives to shape business culture.
Ready to act as a trusted adviser to Hobart managers, lead a wide range of ER matters, support organisational design activity, and drive forward our ED&I & wellbeing agendas?
The Role
* Deliver a comprehensive HR service across the full employee lifecycle, including talent management, recruitment/onboarding, complex ER, organisation design, and L&D solutions.
* Apply a forward‑thinking, data‑driven approach to continuous improvement by challenging existing processes, driving modern HR practices, ensuring legal compliance, and supporting cultural initiatives.
* Develop, review and implement HR policies and procedures, ensuring compliance, inclusion, wellbeing and strong health & safety practices across the organisation.
The Person
* Proven HR generalist experience with a solid knowledge of employment legislation and its application.
* Naturally energetic and curious, with a drive to explore new ideas and challenge the status quo.
* Self‑motivated and able to work under own autonomy.
* Able to engage, advise and influence managers and employees across all levels with clarity and confidence.
* A proactive team player with strong problem‑solving skills.
