Level 3 EYFS SEN Teaching Assistant - Full Time

A welcoming and inclusive primary school in Mossley, Tameside is seeking a dedicated and experienced Level 3 EYFS SEN Teaching Assistant to join their team.
This role is focused on supporting a growing number of SEN children within the Early Years Foundation Stage, as part of the school's commitment to providing an inclusive and nurturing start to education for all pupils. The successful candidate will play a vital role in ensuring these children receive the tailored support they need to thrive both socially and academically.
Working closely with the class teacher and SENCO, you will provide one-to-one and small group support for children with a range of additional needs including speech and language delays, ASD, and global developmental delay. You will be instrumental in delivering adapted learning activities, supporting emotional regulation, encouraging communication and social interaction, and promoting independence in daily routines.
You must hold a Level 3 qualification in Supporting Teaching and Learning or Early Years, and have relevant experience supporting children with special educational needs in an EYFS setting. A calm, nurturing, and patient approach is essential, along with a good understanding of early child development and a strong team ethic. An Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to obtain one) is required.
