Power BI Developer/Specialist (Contract)
Location: Hull (Fully On-Site)
Contract Details
* Start Date: ASAP
* Duration: 6-month contract
* Hours: 40 hours per week (Monday to Friday)
* Working Hours: Between 8:00am - 6:00pm (Core hours: 9:00am - 3:00pm)
* IR35 Status: Inside IR35
Salary: 18.00 per hour (PAYE)

Our client is a global organisation within the renewable energy sector, specialising in the design, manufacture, installation, and maintenance of large-scale energy solutions. This opportunity is based at a key UK manufacturing site and offers the chance to contribute to innovative, sustainable projects within a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
Key Responsibilities
* Design and develop Power BI reports and dashboards using multiple data sources (SQL databases, dataflows, SharePoint)
* Build and maintain scalable data models
* Manage KPI scorecards to ensure consistency across the business
* Standardise reporting in line with design and data quality principles
* Maintain and improve existing reporting solutions
* Work with stakeholders to translate requirements into effective visualisations
* Support reporting frameworks and best practices
* Ensure data accuracy and performance
Essential Skills & Experience
* Strong Power BI experience (DAX, reporting, data modelling)
* Experience with SQL, dataflows, Excel, APIs
* Understanding of ETL and data transformation
* Ability to design clear, user-friendly dashboards
* Strong attention to detail and data quality focus
* Excellent stakeholder communication skills
* Experience maintaining KPI frameworks
Desirable Skills & Experience
* Experience in large-scale or enterprise reporting environments
* Knowledge of reporting governance and standardisation
* Exposure to data visualisation best practices
