Job Description
This opportunity will allow you will learn on the job, and you will support our Operations Team, Procurement and Commercial Teams and assist with the implementation of our new ERP system.
Your role will be to complete assigned work to the best of your ability, ask questions to move forward and work within proposed timescales.
Along with the rest of our team, you will help us deliver dream projects for our clients on large scale construction projects.
Key Deliverables
As a Manufacturing Placement Student, you are required to:
* Assist in the implementation of the ERP system
* Support systems team throughout the implementation of ERP training across departments
* Providing support with our supply chain and manufacturing set up
* Complete value engineering exercise
* Assist with the procurement of materials, plant & labour resources
* Providing support with our supply chain
* Attend internal and external project meetings where required
* Follow correct procedures and storage
* Regularly liaising with other departments, Procurement, Estimating, Quantity Surveying, Design, Production and Site Teams.
* Providing support to the Operations team

Personnel Specification
The role is offered as a placement opportunity, ideally, you will have completed your first 2 years of a Manufacturing Engineering related Course & have a high level of IT literacy, especially in Microsoft Packages (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook).

Desired Criteria
* 3D ability and experience i.e. Photoshop, Inventor or similar.
* Strong AutoCAD skills and experience
Required Criteria
* High levels of IT skills, especially in Microsoft Packages (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook).
* Currently completing your 2nd year of a Manufacturing Engineering related Course
