Bury Town Community Football Club is a charity in Bury St. Edmunds, Suffolk. We are professional, passionate and driven and our goal is to Deliver the best football coaching experience for players.

Eastern Junior Alliance Head Coach Paid Role: £20-£25 per hour

Training Wednesdays and matches on Sunday's.

Responsibilities :

As a Football Coach operating at the highest level outside of academy football, you will be responsible for developing and refining the skills of high-level players. Your primary focus will be on elevating the performance of the players and team both during training sessions and competitive matches.

*Key Duties:*

1. Training Sessions:

2. Conduct structured and dynamic training sessions.

3. Design and implement specialised drills to enhance technical skills, tactical awareness, and overall team cohesion.

4. *Match Preparation:*

5. Lead pre-match training sessions to ensure the team is well-prepared for Sunday matches.

6. *Matchday Responsibilities:*

7. Attend matches on Sunday, actively coaching and providing strategic guidance during the games.

8. Evaluate player performances and provide constructive feedback for continuous improvement.

9. *Player Development:*

10. Identify individual player strengths and areas for improvement, implementing tailored training plans.

11. Foster a positive and growth-oriented environment to maximise player potential.

12. *Communication:*

13. Maintain open and effective communication with players, coaching staff, and club management.

14. Provide regular updates on player progress and team performance.

15. *Team Management:*

16. Manage and inspire a high-performing team. Instil discipline, teamwork, and a strong work ethic among players.

**Coaching Qualifications**

Hold relevant coaching certifications, preferably Level 2 or UEFA C and above.

*Experience:*

Proven track record of coaching at a high level with successful player development.

*Availability:*

Commitment to Wednesday evening training sessions and Sunday matches during the specified times.

*Communication Skills:*

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with players and committee members.

*Analytical Abilities:* A good analytical and tactical understanding of football.

Grassroots Coaches U7-11 Roles: Volunteer

Responsibilities:

10. *Communication:*

11. Maintain open and effective communication with players, parents, and club management.

12. *Team Management:*

13. Manage the team. and Instil discipline, teamwork, and a strong work ethic among players.

**Coaching Qualifications**

Hold relevant coaching certifications, preferably FA Level 1 or Introduction to Coaching Football and above.

*Availability:*

Commitment to training sessions and matches during the specified times agreed.

*Communication Skills:*

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with players .

Job Types: Part-time, Fixed term contract, Temp to perm

Contract length: 12 months

Pay: £20.00-£25.00 per hour
