We are currently recruiting for Cooking Operatives to join or Grimsby Recipe Dish site who are the sole supplier of fresh and chilled ‘best in class’ soups predominantly for M&S. This purpose-built site currently employs around 200 people, whilst turning over £30 million. This site is a fast paced, dynamic and ‘no two days the same’ environment; making it a great place to work. Main Responsibilities: Loading the cooking vessel with the raw materials at the relevant stages throughout the cook. Ensure the CCP cook procedure are met and the relevant end of cook quality tests are carried out, reporting anything out of specification to the Area Leader and Quality team. Ideal Candidate: Previous experience in food production or a similar environment is preferred. Good communication and problem solving skills. Able to use own initiative. Basic English and Maths skills. Knowledge of computers would be an advantage. The shift pattern is two days (06:00-18:00), two nights (18:00-06:00) with four days off.
