Responsibilities
* To be trained and learn how to weld, build, and fabricate parts/assemblies to drawing specifications as instructed.
* To be trained to design and build production aids and fixtures.
* To follow instructions from your mentor while gaining knowledge to reach goals.
* To attend College as agreed and submit coursework on time.
* To exercise proper care of tools, machinery, materials, and equipment.
* To follow company procedures as laid down in the staff handbook.
* To work within the company’s 6S system.
* To perform tasks as instructed by senior operators or the team leader.
* May be required to carry out other duties in other departments as assigned by Lead/Supervisor or Management.
* Responsible for the safe and proper packaging, identification, and movement of all finished products to the correct location.
* Perform first piece dimensional inspections as well as all subsequent inspections as required by AET quality standards.
* Monitor equipment and request maintenance when required.
* Report any issues that may jeopardize quality standards.
One day a week at Chesterfield College. Typical schedule is Monday to Friday, with times to be confirmed.
