MFL French Teacher

Join our dedicated team at a secondary school in South Cumbria, where we are seeking a dynamic MFL French Teacher to start in September. This role is ideal for someone with a strong knowledge of the curriculum, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to creating an engaging learning environment.
Day-to-day of the role:
* Deliver engaging and effective lessons to students at KS3 and KS4 levels; experience with KS5 is advantageous but not essential.
* Utilise strong subject knowledge to inspire and motivate students.
* Maintain high standards of classroom management to ensure a constructive learning environment.
* Assess, monitor, and record the progress of students, providing feedback to help them improve.
* Collaborate with other teaching staff to plan and coordinate lessons.
* Act as a role model to students, demonstrating qualities of compassion, trustworthiness, politeness, and good listening skills.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
* Must have QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) or equivalent.
* Recent relevant experience teaching French at KS3 and KS4 levels; KS5 experience is beneficial.
* Excellent classroom practitioner with robust classroom management skills.
* Reliable, committed, and interested in working with students.
* Good interpersonal skills, punctuality, patience, and confidence when working with children.
