Based in Crawley, West Sussex. Salary: £29,000 Basic, £58,000 OTE + benefits.
Our client is a telecoms supplier covering the South East of England from offices near Gatwick. They are expanding and are recruiting additional members for their Business Development sales teams.
Responsibilities
* Target the SME sector in the South East of England, selling a range of Mobile, Connectivity (Broadband and leased lines), Hosted IP Voice and Security.
* Sell to smaller companies of 15 or fewer users; apply a consultative sales approach by understanding decision-making processes and business needs to tailor packages for clients.
* Self-generate opportunities as well as respond to leads and direct selling.
* Manage the accounts you secure for referral and repeat business.
* Occasionally visit customer sites to facilitate the sale; predominantly office-based with a young, dynamic team.
Qualifications
* Ideal candidate will have 2 years of telecoms sales experience.
* Open to sales experience from outside the telecoms sector if there is a clear B2B selling experience in a competitive, target-driven environment to SME clients.
* Resilient and confident in making outbound calls; strong influencing and objection-handling skills; able to communicate new technology clearly and concisely.
* Good understanding of new technology; familiarity with Salesforce would be advantageous.
