Your Role
We are seeking a highly experienced Warehouse Material and Logistics Planner for our automotive site in Halewood.
This role involves coordinating onsite material planning and logistics activities with CEVA teams to meet project requirements. You will respond to supply chain changes caused by demand fluctuations, costs, or customer challenges.
The position is based at our Halewood operation, Monday to Friday, with flexibility required for working hours and weekends depending on project needs.
What You Will Be Doing
* Calculating the volumes and flows of parts within the operation.
* Conducting resource planning to meet business needs.
* Designing warehouse layouts considering LEAN methodologies.
* Collaborating with production and operational teams to identify delivery methods.
* Providing logistics support as requested by the customer.
* Benchmarking and reviewing operations for best-in-class service.
* Promoting continuous improvement and high performance.
* Supporting the development of the planning master schedule.
* Assisting with ERP system development, testing, and reporting issues.
* Ensuring timely delivery of projects, identifying risks, and proposing solutions.
What We Are Looking For
Applicants should have proven experience in warehouse planning or solutions design, with a focus on operational improvements and project deployment. Strong understanding of operational layouts and warehousing environments is essential.
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills are required, along with a keen interest in continuous improvement and LEAN methodologies. Ability to build relationships at all levels and proficiency in MS Office and related software is necessary. Experience with AutoCAD or MTM software is a plus but not essential.
