Astute's Power Team is partnered with a market-leading Energy company, to recruit an Electrical Maintenance Engineer for their Combined Cycle Gas Turbine (CCGT) Power Station in Rochester, Kent.
The vital Electrical Maintenance Engineer role comes with a basic salary of £58,100 - £87,100 + a performance related bonus + other excellent benefits.

Responsibilities and duties
Reporting to the Production Manager, you will be responsible for:
* The daily planned maintenance of electrical assets across the site which includes power distribution systems, HV/LV motors, actuators, switchgear (up to 400kV), generators, etc.
* Leading a team of technicians and apprentices, whilst working closely with 3rd party contractors on site.
* Collaborating closely with the Control & Instrumentation Team and the Mechanical Engineering Team.
* Having full control of the electrical maintenance budget.
* Delivering planned maintenance on time and in line with the company standards.
Professional qualifications
* Ideally a Degree in a Electrical Engineering discipline; however, we would consider those with a HND/HNC/NVQ Level 3, etc.
* A formal Health and Safety qualification such as IOSH is required as a minimum.
Personal skills, prior experience and knowledge
* Prior Electrical Engineering experience working in heavy process engineering environments such as Power Stations, Paper Mills, Top Tier COMAH sites, Refineries, Petrochemicals, etc.
* Experience working with High Voltage (HV) systems up to 400kV would be ideal.
* Experience working with relevant electrical equipment such as motors, generators, switchgears, PLC systems, etc.
* Demonstrate the ability to successfully manage teams.
