3. Provide expert advice on a variety of ER issues including performance, absence, disciplinary and grievance matters
4. Support and lead on case investigations and documentation, ensuring a fair and compliant approach
5. Represent HR in formal meetings, promoting consistency and best practice
6. Maintain accurate case records and help identify patterns or emerging issues
Change & Consultation Support
7. Assist HR Business Partners with organisational change processes
8. Provide guidance to managers and employees during periods of change
HR Policy & Compliance
9. Apply and advise on HR policies and employment legislation
10. Contribute to policy reviews and updates
11. Promote consistency and fairness in all HR practices
Coaching & Manager Support
12. Build manager confidence through coaching on day-to-day HR issues
13. Support initiatives that foster employee well-being and a positive work culture
14. Help design and deliver workshops or guidance sessions on key HR topics
Collaboration & Operational Support
15. Work with colleagues in Payroll, L&D, and other HR teams to resolve queries and ensure a joined-up approach
16. Use HR data to support decision-making and identify trends
17. Plan and prioritise your own workload, balancing casework, project support, and business needs
The Successful Applicant
18. Experience in a generalist HR or ER advisory role, ideally within a multi-site or complex organisation
19. Strong understanding of employment law and best practice in managing ER issues
20. A proven track record in advising on complex ER issues, including performance, disciplinary, and change management
21. Ability to work in a standalone capacity, with the confidence to make decisions independently
22. Ability to handle sensitive situations with professionalism
23. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
24. A self-starter who thrives both independently and as part of a collaborative team
What's on Offer
25. Salary £35,000 per annum
26. This is a hybrid role, working aminimum of 1 day per week at the Liverpool site
27. 25 days annual leave plus bank holidays
