We have an exciting opportunity for a Field Trainer in the North to join our brand Penhaligon’s, The working schedule is based on full time schedule working 5 days per week (37.5hrs), Monday – Sunday inclusive.
In this role, you will deliver engaging onboarding, product and service training to our team members for our Penhaligon’s brand, ensuring they have the knowledge and skills to provide the best possible customer experience. Acting as a role model on the sales floor, you will inspire and coach our teams to embody our brand values and deliver excellence in every interaction.
The Field Trainer will represent Puig and Penhaligon’s, forming the connection between the brand and our customers. Coaching and developing instore to maximise each BAs capability with – link selling, cross selling, artistry and fragrance storytelling and product knowledge.
This role is field based covering the North region with regular travel between the store locations across from Birmingham to Glasgow and also Ireland.
1. Act as a brand ambassador on the shop floor, demonstrating exceptional selling, customer service, and storytelling skills.
2. Deliver regular coaching and training sessions on a variety of topics, with a strong focus on onboarding new starters, product knowledge, service excellence, and ongoing learning.
3. Observe service delivery in-store and at counters, providing immediate, constructive feedback to drive improvement.
4. Elevate luxury service standards, focusing on personalisation and exceptional attention to detail.
5. Collaborate with store managers and Regional Retail Managers to identify individual strengths, development areas, and training needs for team members.
6. Support team’s achievement of sales and service KPIs by coaching teams to deliver consistently high-quality service experiences.
7. Take a proactive role in coaching and supporting staff to reach their full potential.
8. Ensure our values, principles, and commitment to diversity are embedded throughout all training delivery.
9. Support events, brand activations, including PR, and seasonal launches to elevate the customer experience, in-store, at local or global level.
10. Contribute to building strong client relationships and encourage repeat business through effective clienteling practices, animations and being a social media ambassador as per brand guidelines.
11. Achieve sales targets and collaborate with Store Managers/Business Managers and RRM’s to drive team performance, leading by example.
12. Increase sales revenue through upselling, cross-selling, service excellence, and monthly animations at POS.
13. Build brand awareness and loyalty while meeting or exceeding monthly targets.
14. Provide ongoing support after seasonal trainings through touchpoints, in-store follow-ups, product knowledge recaps, and addressing any training needs.
15. Ensure VM and grooming guidelines are always followed in store.

16. A strong background in the luxury beauty, fragrance, or cosmetics industry, with experience in retail, education, or training roles.
17. Proven ability to coach, mentor, and develop in-store teams, enhancing their skills in link selling, cross-selling, artistry, and fragrance storytelling.
18. A sales-focused mindset, with a solid track record of achieving targets and driving performance across a region or store network.
19. Experience delivering impactful training sessions both on-counter and in classroom settings, bringing brand education to life for new and existing Beauty Advisors.
20. Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the confidence to lead by example and build strong relationships across store teams.
21. Experience supporting in-store events, brand activations, and seasonal launches, contributing to a dynamic and engaging customer experience.Confidence using social media platforms to enhance brand awareness, grow your own professional presence, and engage beauty audiences
22. A passion for clientelling and customer relationship building, with an understanding of how to encourage repeat business and increase customer lifetime value.
