Clinical Psychologist - Children's Autism & Learning Disabilities
£60,000 - £65,000 per annum (DOE)

Essential:
* Doctorate in Clinical Psychology (or equivalent).
* Registered with the relevant professional regulatory body (e.g. HCPC).
* Experience working with children and young people with autism and/or learning disabilities.
* Strong knowledge of neurodevelopmental assessment, formulation, and intervention.
* Experience working with families and carers.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Responsibilities:
* Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments for children and young people with suspected or diagnosed autism and/or learning disabilities.
* Contribute to diagnostic assessments, including autism diagnostic pathways, using recognised tools and clinical judgement.
* Develop and deliver evidence-based psychological interventions tailored to individual developmental, cognitive, and emotional needs.
* Provide behavioural, emotional, and sensory-informed support strategies for children and families.
* Offer parent and caregiver consultations, guidance, and psychoeducation.
* Write clear, high-quality clinical reports with practical recommendations for families, schools, and other professionals.
