Who we’re looking for
* GCSE (GCSE) Five GCSEs including Maths, English and Science (Grade 4/C or above) essential
* Other (HNC or equivalent) in a Construction related subject (Grade Level 4) essential

Your Training Plan
* 3 years study part-time + 6 months for EPA
* Block release learning at Sheffield Hallam University (4 x1-week blocks in Feb, May, Sept & Nov)
* Regular progress reviews to discuss expected progress / interventions/additional support
What you’ll be doing
* Create, maintain, and communicate robust project plans by recording and managing timescales and resources (people, time, and materials). Report on progress, productivity, causes and effects, and advise project teams of forthcoming risks.
* Engage with project teams to identify and mitigate inefficiencies, while proposing solutions for improvement that align with contractual operations and overall business objectives.
* Provide accurate forecasts against contractual milestones and key dates.
* In collaboration with the Senior Planner/Planner, ensure that project progress and productivity are effectively monitored against the programme. Produce and distribute clear, timely reports (e.g., manpower histograms, progress trackers, and KPI dashboards) to relevant personnel. Ensure that project variations are communicated and integrated into the programme.
* Regularly attend project sites to accurately monitor progress and activities. Support the project team in maintaining progress in line with the current programme and confirm that adequate resources are available to meet project targets.
* Develop resource programmes throughout the project lifecycle—from the tender stage through to project completion.
* Understand and support compliance with all planning-related activities, including contractual obligations, internal processes, and external legislation governing operations.
