* Job Title: Cover Supervisor
* Salary: Up to £25,000.00 per annum depending on experience (not pro rata)
* Hours: 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday 8am - 4pm
* Contract: Permanent, Term Time Only

About the Role
As a Cover Supervisor, your main responsibility is to provide high-quality teaching and learning cover across the school. You will lead whole classes, manage challenging behaviours, and ensure pupils meet their lesson objectives. This role is key in maintaining consistency and continuity of education, especially during teacher absences or other school activities.
Key Responsibilities
1. Cover timetabled classes and general absences throughout the week.
2. Deliver high-quality lessons and manage challenging behaviour when necessary.
3. Ensure students stay focused and meet lesson objectives.
4. Prepare the classroom for lessons.
You will also contribute to:
* The development and implementation of the school’s policies for pupils’ personal and social development, including pastoral care and guidance.
* The effective induction of pupils via baseline assessments.
* Promoting standards of conduct and discipline, encouraging good behaviour.
