SMT Operator – Electronics Manufacturing
We are currently seeking an assembler to produce products in accordance with defined build instructions for a variety of major OEMs in market sectors including Automotive, Clean Energy, Communication & Broadcasting, Consumer, Defence & Aerospace, Homeland Security, IP Development Platforms, Medical, Scientific Research & Space.
SMT Operator - Key Responsibilities:
* Assemble products to IPC-A-610 standards and build instructions
* Operate SMT line to produce populated PCB assemblies to required quality and timescales
* Prepare stencils and printing equipment
* Perform in-line inspection for quality and consistency
* Document any deviations from standard before starting work
* Ensure processes are robust, clear, and consistently followed
* Maintain high-quality standards and notify supervision of any issues affecting build times
SMT Operator - Skills & Experience:
1. Experience operating Pick and Place SMT machines
2. Pre-kitting for SMT machines
3. Programming and operating stencil printers
4. Proficiency in load placement programming and set value checks (Europlacer experience is a plus)
5. Ability to create/adjust component package checks (Europlacer experience is a plus)
