Our client is seeking a HR Advisor on a 4.5-month contract, based in Birmingham with 1 day of remote work per week. The role offers 32 hours, which can be worked over 4 or 5 days. Ideal candidates will have ER experience and knowledge of safeguarding protocols. The salary is £37,000 FTE.
This is a fast-paced position with responsibilities including:
1. Maintaining effective relationships with the business and upholding high professional standards.
2. Responding to general queries via the HR Inbox, owning and escalating issues as needed.
3. Leading projects that support business growth through HR input.
4. Supporting and occasionally leading HR training sessions.
5. Assisting with consultations and business restructuring, acting as a point of contact for change-related queries.
6. Managing employee relations cases, including high-risk cases, across all streams.
7. Coaching and advising managers on employment issues, ensuring compliance and professionalism.
8. Handling queries related to employment terms and conditions, ensuring timely processes.
9. Administering HR cases, maintaining relevant documentation and databases.
10. Providing ad hoc support to the HR team as needed.
The ideal candidate will be CIPD Level 5 or 7 qualified with at least 3 years of experience, particularly in a generalist or ER advisory role.
