Mead Open Farm Day Nursery is an Early years setting based onsite at Mead Open Farm. We focus on nature based play, and outdoor learning. We follow a child led curiosity approach to children’s development. We also run an onsite holiday club for children aged 4-11yrs.
We have new vacancies available for Seasonal Assistants, who wish to work during school holidays (13 weeks of the year) to join our Nursery & Holiday Club teams working with children age 0-11 years. You must have previous professional experience in childcare. Ideally in a day nursery/preschool or school environment. We are specifically looking for people who can work this coming October half term week. 27th – 31st October 2025. Hours available during these times are fully flexible, you can work part time or full time during the school holidays, its totally up to you! Working in this unique environment, based upon a farm, the role will be extremely rewarding!

What are we looking for:
* Ideally a related qualification in Early Years
* A passion for childcare
* Flexibility and reliability.
Due to our location a full driving licence and own transport would be preferred.
Please note the nursery will be open from 7:30am-6:30pm, Monday to Friday and so shift patterns will be rotating within these opening hours. Please make sure you can commit to early and late shifts before applying.
