Opportunity: Manager in Business Recovery Team
Join the expanding Business Recovery team of our respected mid-tier CA firm as a Manager.
You will support Directors and senior management in progressing corporate insolvency cases from initial advice to appointment, including post-appointment reporting, directors conduct reports, and first phase enquiries. You will also support junior team members and play a key role in identifying and coordinating solutions for distressed businesses.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Manage a portfolio of up to 80 cases, including MVLs, CVLs, Court liquidations, Administrations, and complex Sequestrations.
2. Develop and implement case strategies.
3. Liaise with stakeholders to agree on case strategies, including secured creditors and directors.
4. Supervise, delegate, mentor, and train junior team members with management support.
5. Plan and monitor cases to ensure effective completion of work.
6. Monitor WIP and costs to stay within budget.
7. Coordinate with third-party advisors such as solicitors, agents, and stakeholders.
8. Identify potential risks and escalate issues to Directors.
9. Assist senior management with business development activities.
Candidates should be CPI, JIEB, or CA/ACCA/ACA qualified insolvency professionals with at least five years of corporate insolvency experience within a CA or Insolvency practice. Experience in both corporate and personal insolvency is encouraged. Demonstrated competence in managing cases from inception to completion is essential. The ideal candidate will be highly organized, proactive, and able to work independently.
