Teaching Personnel is pleased to offer an exciting opportunity to join one of our valued SEN partner schools in Cambridge. The school is seeking a committed and experienced professional to take on the role of Deputy Designated Safeguarding Lead. This vital position involves supporting the Designated Safeguarding Lead in maintaining a safe, supportive, and nurturing environment for all students.
The school is a specialist school for children and young people with Autistic Spectrum Conditions aged between 5—19 years old.
Key Responsibilities
* Support the Designated Safeguarding Lead in managing safeguarding and child protection concerns
* Assist staff with reporting and addressing child protection issues
* Maintain accurate safeguarding records and ensure timely reporting in line with national guidance
* Attend meetings for identified pupils and represent the school’s safeguarding views
* Work collaboratively with internal and external professionals
* Support staff training and ensure updates from Keeping Children Safe in Education are effectively implemented

Available Monday – Friday 8am-4pm (except Tuesdays until 5pm), Term Time only.

All pay rates include 12.07% holiday pay. This is a temporary role, with potential for permanent placement later.
