The Responsibilities of a Digital Strategy Director are as follows:
·A global responsibility for the design, development, and implementation of the company’s digital strategy and roadmap to digital automation
·Develop and maintain strong supplier/vendor relationships as well as working closely and effectively with the most senior stakeholders within the company
·Creating, developing, and implementing a clear roadmap, incorporating strategic vision brought to fruition through digital transformation
·Acting as the customer voice when strategising a roadmap, including analysing potential functional improvements
·Provide leadership to the Telematics team, leading the telematics customer processes globally to support account management and structure (i.e. dealer vs end customer)
·Developing and innovating augmented reality technology and virtual reality systems to improve customer experience, realise remote viewing capability, and reduce costs
·Define and execute the commercial strategy for a complete range of digital services
·Strong communication with global sites, informing them of product or process changes
·Providing excellent, direct customer support globally (API, commercial agreements etc)
·Defining and driving the monetization strategy alongside, and aligning with, strategic strategies
·Collaboration with Global Parts & Services Organisation support functions, incorporating best practice ideals
To fulfil these responsibilities as a Digital Strategy Director you will have the following skills/experience:
·Digital transformation experience within aftermarket/service-based industries
·Ability to manifest and achieve strategic vision, whilst also managing Senior Management expectations
·Unwavering communication and collaboration skills
·Exceptionally strong leadership capabilities, with the ability to communicate informally and directly with Senior Management (up to C suite level), whilst demonstrating gravitas when engaging in conflict management and leading them through the digital journey
·Proven success in leading multi-functional teams in previous work experience
·Experience in delivering organisation initiatives, and having the ability to develop strategic visions to a clear roadmap of change
·Continuous improvement capabilities, always working innovatively to forecast the future of the organisation
Travel:
·20% of annual travel required
