GTR are recruiting a Customer Information Trainer based out of our Rail Operating Centre in Three Bridges

Purpose Of Role
The role will act as the lead for training, competency and operational standards across Three Bridges ROC, London Victoria Control Point and CCTV operations. Working closely with the People Development Team and operational leaders, the post holder will design, develop and deliver role-specific training frameworks, competency standards and processes to ensure colleagues are equipped to perform their duties safely,
confidently and consistently.
The post holder will also address training needs by providing further practical
training to individuals or small groups as well as support the introduction of new technologies or system enhancements.
Through structured training, coaching, assessment and assurance, the post holder will drive standardisation of ways of working, maximise the effective use of systems and technology and improve the
quality and consistency of customer information delivery. The individual will demonstrate exemplary Leadership behaviours and embody GTR values and the business strategy.
Key success criteria
Understanding of training design and evaluation methods to ensure learning is effective and aligned to operational needs. Understanding of change implementation and embedding new processes, systems or standards within teams. Knowledge/Awareness of Customer Information systems and processes. Understanding of CCTV operations and their role within the control environment
Excellent standard of English with an engaging and credible communication style.
Ability to design and deliver engaging training sessions in classroom, virtual and workplace settings.
Strong coaching and 1-2-1 development skills to support colleagues in real-time operational environments. Ability to assess competence and provide clear, constructive feedback
Demonstration of tenacity, resilience and a positive attitude.
Proven experience delivering training and coaching in both classroom and workplace settings. Experience designing and developing training materials, structured learning programmes and practical guidance documentation. Experience developing or contributing to role-based competency frameworks, accreditation or assessment processes within an operational environment.
Training, coaching or assessment qualification (e.g. A1/TAQA, Level 3/4 Learning &Development or equivalent) desirable.
CIPD or other learning and development qualification desirable.
Internal trainer or assessor accreditation advantageous.
