Supervisor Household Waste & Recycling Centres / Waste Transfer Stations
Location: North Somerset
Salary: £40,000 per year + van for commuting and business | Contract: Permanent | Hours: Shift basis 6 days on, 3 days off
We are seeking an experienced Supervisor to lead the operations of multiple Household Waste Recycling Centres and Waste Transfer Stations in North Somerset. This role is ideal for someone with strong leadership skills in waste management and environmental services.
What youll be doing:
* Oversee daily operations at three HWRC sites and support Waste Transfer Station activities as required.
* Lead, mentor, and provide technical support to team leaders and staff.
* Deputise for the Senior Supervisor when needed and report via KPIs and daily updates.
* Identify new opportunities and potential commercial work streams.
* Engage with the public and provide guidance on recycling and waste processes.
Candidate requirements:
1. WAMITAB COTC Level 4 qualified (treatment/transfer) or working towards.
2. Full UK driving licence (clean preferred).
