Are you a SAPHRE trained P4C Primary Teacher? Are you looking for the right mindful and reflective school to teach at? This role is for you!
Contract: Full time – ASAP 2025 start
Type: Temporary - real potential to become permanent for the right person.
Salary: £165 - £250 per day
Responsibilities
* Planning and delivering engaging, age-appropriate lessons that support progress in reading, writing and maths
* Lead teacher for P4C including cascading new training and planning through the school
* Working closely with your year group team to share ideas, resources and strategies
* Assessing pupils’ progress and adapting your teaching to meet individual needs
* Communicating regularly with parents and carers to celebrate achievements and address concerns
* Contributing to the wider life of the school, from assemblies and enrichment activities to curriculum development
Qualifications & Skills
* A qualified teacher (QTS essential) with experience in Key Stage 1 or Key Stage 2
* P4C-trained, with a passion for developing children’s critical thinking, discussion, and reasoning skills
* A calm, consistent classroom presence, able to create a secure and stimulating environment
* Strong understanding of early reading, phonics, writing and maths
* Someone who believes that relationships, routines and kindness underpin every great lesson
* A team player with excellent communication skills and a genuine desire to contribute to the wider school community
