Senior Project Manager – Major Infrastructure Project (£30m)
A leading civil engineering contractor is seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to take full responsibility for the delivery of a £30 million new road project. This is a high‑profile infrastructure scheme requiring strong leadership, technical expertise, and a proven track record in major civil engineering works.
Key Responsibilities
* Overall management and successful delivery of the project from start to completion
* Leading and coordinating site teams, subcontractors, and consultants
* Ensuring the project is delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest safety and quality standards
* Managing programme, cost control, risk, and change
* Maintaining strong client and stakeholder relationships
* Ensuring compliance with all contractual, legal, and health & safety requirements
About You
* Proven experience as a Senior Project Manager on large‑scale civil engineering or highways projects
* Strong background in road construction 278 works and infrastructure projects
* Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills
* Solid commercial awareness and contract management experience
* Relevant engineering or construction qualification (HNC/HND/Degree or equivalent)
