Role Description
We are looking for five Know Your Customer (KYC) / Client Due Diligence (CDD) Onboarding Analysts in Belfast to join the Global Anti-Money Laundering (AML) team. The team supports the Global Banking and Global Markets businesses in completing KYC/CDD onboarding. The analyst will take ownership of the AML KYC/CDD onboarding process for assigned clients and become a technical expert in KYC/CDD procedures.
Responsibilities
* Conduct client due diligence and enhanced due diligence in accordance with internal policies, procedures and regulatory guidelines aligned to jurisdictions and client structures.
* Review completed documentation received back from clients and sign off documentation in compliance with local AML regulations.
* Follow up on all outstanding issues and escalations.
* Liaise with business partners in Global Finance Crimes Compliance, Fulfillment, Sales and Local Compliance Officer.
* Ensure that the business is compliant with all Bank policies and local legal requirements globally.
* Ensure that documentation requirements are met and perform Anti‑Money Laundering checks on existing clients, including independent verification of information using external research via internet and vendors such as Mint Global and Banker’s Almanac.
What we are looking for
* Anti Money Laundering, Know Your Customer/Client Due Diligence experience preferred or related fields (Compliance, Risk Management, Financial Crimes).
* Experience performing in a process‑oriented production environment that changes periodically.
* Ability to organise work, prioritise tasks and handle multiple assignments simultaneously.
