Teaching Assistant - Full Time

Vision for Education is looking to appoint a full time Teaching Assistant to work with one of our partner schools based in LS18. This is a full time role and you must have experience of supporting teaching and learning in a primary setting.
This full time Teaching Assistant role, Monday to Friday 8:15am until 3:45pm, working a dual role of general TA in Year 3 while also helping out where needed with intervention groups.
This role will commence October 2025 and will be on going with a potential to move onto a perm contract with the school after a 12 week period.
Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications.
The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position is a Level 2 or above in Teaching and Supporting Learning and SEND experience would be desirable to the role. You will be working within small groups as well as generically within a class, so a pro active, enthusiastic individual is required.

Requirements
To be considered for the Teaching Assistant position, you will:
1. Hold a minimum of a Level 2 qualification in supporting teaching & learning in schools.
2. Have experience of working as a Teaching Assistant in an school environment.
3. Be experienced in working with smaller nurture groups to boost attainment.
4. Have a genuine desire to become part of a committed team of school staff.
