Recruitment Manager – Nursing
Healthcare Recruitment | On‑site – Preston
We’re looking for an experienced Recruitment Manager – Nursing to lead, grow, and scale a high‑performing healthcare recruitment desk based from our Preston office.
This is a senior, hands‑on role for someone who has operated at management level within healthcare nursing recruitment, can drive personal billings, and has a proven track record of building and developing successful teams.
The Role
You will take ownership of our nursing recruitment function, combining delivery, leadership, and commercial growth. This is not a purely hands‑off role — you’ll lead from the front, win business, deliver results, and develop people.
Key responsibilities include:
* Managing and growing a nursing recruitment desk across NHS and private healthcare clients
* Driving consistent personal billings while increasing overall desk and team performance
* Leading, mentoring, and developing a team of recruiters to exceed targets
* Building strong, long‑term client relationships and expanding account penetration
* New business development and contract wins within healthcare and nursing
* Ensuring full compliance with healthcare recruitment standards and frameworks
* Creating a high‑performance culture focused on quality, delivery, and results
About You
To be successful in this role, you must have:
* Proven experience at senior recruiter / team leader / manager level within healthcare nursing recruitment
* A strong personal billing history and the ability to consistently perform at a high level
* Experience recruiting across nursing roles within NHS, private healthcare, or both
* Demonstrated success in building, managing, and growing a recruitment team
* Strong commercial awareness and the ability to drive revenue growth
* Confident, professional communication and leadership skills
