We have an exciting opportunity for a Substance Misuse Recovery Worker to join our team at HMP Whatton, a category C men's Prison located near Bingham in Nottinghamshire,
Hours
The site currently offers Monday - Friday; 8am - 4pm
Salary
This position is full time, you’ll receive an annual salary up to £32,346 per annum - depending on experience.

Candidates are required to have a Legal right to work in the UK on a permanent basis and due to the nature of the role, offers of employment will be subject to additional vetting and security checks.
What you'll be doing
As a Substance Misuse Recovery Worker, your responsibilities will vary. You will
* You will be working with other members of the team that you are part of, assessing needs of patients and assessing risks accordingly.
* You will provide outstanding evidence based care to a case load of psycho social patients seeking out, listening to and acting on their feedback so that care is personalised and informed by what matters to them.
* You will provide a programme of psycho social interventions, along with information and advice on substance misuse related concerns.
* promote safe patient care
* develop and apply new skills to maintain and enhance clinical service delivery.

Qualifications required
* You will have experience of working within the substance misuse multi-disciplinary frame work, that includes housing, social care, healthcare, and mental health pathways.
* You’ll also have a flexible approach to working within a team that encourages new ideas and opinions on how to improve the service.
* Good IT skills and IT literacy
