Job Purpose:
* To assist in the preparation of the monthly management accounts, balance sheet reconciliations, consultant invoice / payment processing, posting weekly payroll / Guild / credit cards / subcontractors.
Key Responsibilities
* Assisting with the preparation of monthly management accounts
* Assisting with year-end audit
* Consultant invoice and payment processing. Check timesheets (with Aurora where applicable), update purchase orders. Prepare for payment authorisation (every 2 weeks).
* Subcontract and Guild processing and verifying new subcontractors with HMRC. Preparing payment run.
* Credit card processing (monthly). Input of payments onto Sage.
* Weekly payroll input onto Sage (net pay, PAYE, NI, Pension etc). Update PAYE / NI schedules.
* Balance sheet reconciliations
* Providing cover in other areas of the finance department as required
Who we are looking for
* We are looking for candidates that are AAT qualified or higher or part qualified and have a minimum of 5 years experience in a similar role.
