The Role
As Facilities Manager, you will play a key role in maintaining the operational excellence of a historic and high-profile London estate. Your responsibilities will include:
* Leading the delivery of hard and soft FM services across a mixed portfolio
* Ensuring full health & safety compliance, statutory obligations and best-practice FM processes
* Managing tenant relationships, supporting day-to-day operational needs and resolving building issues
* Overseeing PPM schedules, O&M manuals, asset registers, and ensuring documentation integrity
* Supervising the in-house maintenance team and external contractors, ensuring high performance and value for money
* Supporting service charge budgeting, financial monitoring, approvals and cost control
* Managing minor works, refurbishments, and liaising with project teams on larger schemes
* Collaborating with internal teams on sustainability, procurement, insurance, H&S and operational improvements
* Participating in emergency response and out-of-hours escalation when needed
1. You will have
* 5+ years’ experience in multi-site or multi-building facilities management
* Strong knowledge of combined hard and soft services
* IOSH or NEBOSH qualification (essential)
* Solid understanding of building operations, compliance, and technical FM
* Confident skills in budgeting, service charges, financial management
* Ability to communicate effectively with tenants, contractors and internal stakeholders
* Strong organisational skills, with a proactive and solutions-focused attitude
